Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via organic or algorithmic search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search, news search and industry-specific vertical search engines.

Services - Site Level SEO

KEYWORDS

Search Engine friendly and keyword rich content to be implemented as appropriate on the site to achieve high traffic and rankings. High priority keywords will be used in the Site Title, Site Description, Page Title(s), and Page Description(s) for the website.

KEYWORD PHRASES

Our recommendation is use of two or three-word phrases instead of single words, pair general keyword with more specific ones. Also, use of combination keywords that are distantly related, common misspelled related terms, service region specific keywords and long variation of keywords.

SEARCH ENGINES

Submit the client’s website URL to Google and Bing  to ensure the website is crawled/indexed.

WEBSITE ANALYTICS & WEB TOOLS

We will setup Google Analytics - a platform which tracks visitors, traffic sources, pageviews, and content. Google Analytics is the enterprise-class web analytics solution that gives you rich insights into your website traffic and marketing effectiveness. Powerful, flexible and easy-to-use features now let you see and analyze your traffic data in an entirely new way. With Google Analytics, you're more prepared to write better-targeted ads, strengthen your marketing initiatives and create higher converting websites.

We will also setup Google Webmaster Tools, which submits your website to be crawled by Google. This allows us to get Google's view of your site and diagnose problems. We’ll see how Google crawls and indexes your site, find out which Google search queries drive traffic to your site, and see exactly how users arrive there. Google Webmaster Tools makes sure Google is readily updated on the structure of your Google Site and notifies us of any negative affects on your Site’s SEO.

SOCIAL MEDIA

We will register your business listing on Google Plus, which replaced Google Places for creating local search results. Local search results occur when Googling terms such as “Attorney in St. Louis, MO” and visitors are presented with Google Maps locations and map pin points for relevant search results. We will fully complete your registration to be one of the listings in this type of user search, directing them to your contact information and website.

Facebook and Twitter are also social media outlets which have a high reputation in the online community and therefore presence on their outlets increases search engine regard for your website. Not to mention they can serve as sources for referrals to your website. We will register and brand these social media accounts.

MAINTENANCE & REPORTING

We will provide SEO maintenance and reporting for your website. You will receive, by default, weekly reports on your web property’s traffic and access to Google Analytics reporting. We can adjust your SEO factors to increase your traffic and better direct your website to a specific audience.

All website pages should be as close to the root directory as possible, as pages closer to the root directory are often given more weight with the engines. Pages closer to the root also seem to have higher PageRanks in Google.

IMAGES

Provide text-only alternatives for your content that can't be read by search engines (such as JavaScript, images, Flash and other multimedia). Include text for image ALT tags.

COPY

We will proofread and review all copy on each web page of your website. We will eliminate errors, insert keywords and keyword phrases and create meaningful titles for all content.

CONTENT RECOMMENDATIONS

If we notice a lack of content or a complete void of content on a particularly relevant subject area, we will make recommendations for the creation of new web pages and content. Unique and interested content is the basis for good Page Rank.
